THE NASHVILLE 7 DEP HDG AND RADIAL HAVE BEEN CHANGED ON A TEST BASIS; BUT NOT ON COMMERCIAL OR GOV CHARTS.
ALL I'M TRYING TO DO IS ALERT OTHER CREWS OF A POSSIBLE GOTCHA AT BNA. THE NASHVILLE 7 DEP ON PAGE 10-3 IS INCORRECT AS PUBLISHED. THE DEP OFF RWY 2R IS NOW A R TURN TO 045 DEGS TO INTERCEPT THE 068 DEG RADIAL. THE ONLY NOTIFICATION TO AIR CREW IS A NOTE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE CLRNC PDC. HERE'S THE GOTCHA: IF YOUR ROUTING IS CHANGED AND THE ACARS CLRNC CONSISTS OF A NOTE TO VERBALLY CALL CLRNC; YOU ARE CLRED FOR THE 'NASHVILLE 7' WITH NO MENTION OF THE NEW HDG AND RADIAL OFF RWY 2R. THIS HAPPENED TO US; BUT FORTUNATELY WE HAD JUST BEEN THROUGH BNA AND HAD WRITTEN DOWN THE NEW HDG ON PAGE 10- 3. THE ONLY POSSIBLE REMINDER MIGHT BE THE YELLOW NOISE ABATEMENT SIGN AT THE END OF THE RWY THAT REFLECTS THE NEW DATA; BUT SINCE WHEN DOES AN ARPT SIGN TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER A CURRENT COMMERCIAL OR GOV SID PAGE? I RECOMMEND YOU PUT OUT A MESSAGE TO NASHVILLE FLTS UNTIL 10-3 IS UPDATED. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR FLIES THE FK10. HE DOES NOT REGULARLY FLY THROUGH BNA; AND HAS NOT BEEN THROUGH THERE SINCE THIS RPT WAS SUBMITTED. THE RPTR'S ACR HAS TALKED TO BNA CTLRS AND FOUND THAT THE CHANGE MENTIONED IS ON A 'TEST ONLY' BASIS TO ALLEVIATE NOISE PROBS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. BNA EXPECTS THE CHANGE TO BE PERMANENT; BUT WILL NOT NOTIFY THE COMMERCIAL CHART SUPPLIER AND GOV AGENCY UNTIL THE TEST IS CONSIDERED SUCCESSFUL. THE MESSAGE TELLING OF THE NEW HDG AND RADIAL IS LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PDC DELIVERED TO THE ACFT BY ACARS. TRACON DEP CTLRS MENTION ANY DEV FROM THE NEW HDG AND RADIAL.
