PLTS OF AN EX-MIL SEL JET; ALLOWED ACFT TO SETTLE BACK ONTO RWY DURING TKOF CAUSING NOSE GEAR TO BE JAMMED IN THE UP POS AND CONTINUED WITH TKOF FOR EVENTUAL NOSE GEAR UP LNDG.

Narrative

TKOF FROM CTB 14900 LBS; 77 DEG F; RWY 23; WIND CALM. NORMAL ACCELERATION AND FULL PWR FROM ENG. ROTATED IN GND EFFECT 110 PLUS KTS; GEAR RETRACTED -- ACFT SETTLED TO RWY IN SPITE OF ATTEMPTS TO CTL THIS WITH ELEVATOR. ACFT CONTACTED RWY LEVEL SLID OFF AT END OF RWY 20-30 FT IN GRASS. CONTACTED RWY LIGHTS; BECAME AIRBORNE AGAIN AS GND RAPIDLY DROPPED AWAY TO A DEEP VALLEY. GAINED FLYING SPD; GEAR WAS UP; FLAPS IN TKOF 31 DEG POS. PLANE SANK INTO VALLEY; ATTAINED CLB AND FLYING SPD. CLBED TO 13000-14000 FT; ASSESSED DAMAGE. RADIO CONTACT BY HAND HELD ONLY; FLAPS FUNCTIONAL; GEAR CYCLED DOWN; NOSE GEAR TRAPPED. FLEW OVER ARPT; NOSE GEAR RPTED UP. EXHAUSTED FUEL; LANDED ON MAIN GEAR ONLY; HELD NOSE OFF; SLID TO STOP CTR OF RWY WITHOUT INCIDENT OR INJURY. THIS INCIDENT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. THE PLANE WAS HEAVILY LOADED; DENSITY ALT 5100 FT. I FEEL I SHOULD HAVE OBTAINED A HIGHER AIRSPD UNDER THESE CONDITIONS AND WAITED LONGER BEFORE RETRACTING LNDG GEAR. THE PLANE WAS CAPABLE OF FLYING OFF OF THIS ARPT AT THIS TEMP. I BELIEVE MY TECHNIQUE WAS AT FAULT.
