50 NM N ATL AT FL330; ADVISED BY #1 FLT ATTENDANT WE MAY HAVE A MEDICAL EMER; PAX WAS PASSED OUT; VERY PALE AND NON-RESPONSIVE. STARTED LOOKING FOR A DIVERT CITY; ATL WX 1/4 MI FOG. ALSO SUGGESTED MAKING AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR QUALIFIED MEDICAL PERSONNEL. A REGISTERED MEDICAL NURSE; RN; RESPONDED. INITIAL RPT; PULSE WEAK; BREATHING LABORED. PUT ON OXYGEN. AT XA44 #1 FLT ATTENDANT RPTED PAX STILL VERY WEAK AND PALE; BREATHING LABORED; PROBABLY A MEDICAL EMER. AT XA45 DECLARED A MEDICAL EMER WITH ZTL; STARTED TOWARD SAV; 140 MI AWAY. BEST WX; GOOD TAILWIND. AT XA46 TALKED DIRECTLY WITH RN. SHE RPTED PAX APPEARS DRUNK; SMELLS OF ALCOHOL; TRAVELING COMPANION RELUCTANTLY VOLUNTEERS INFO ON HVY PARTYING. BELIEVES SIT STABILIZED. PAX RESPONSIVE; TALKING; DOES NOT FEEL IT IS A LIFE THREATENING SIT. AT XA47; CANCELED EMER WITH ZTL; TOLD THEM MEDICAL EMER SIT IS STABILIZED AND NON-THREATENING. REQUEST ROUTING TO MIA AND TERMINATE EMER. PERSONALLY WENT BACK TO CHK OUT SIT; TALKED WITH MR PAX; HIS TRAVELING COMPANIONS; RN AND FLT ATTENDANTS. AFTER BEING SATISFIED SIT WAS NON-CRITICAL; NON LIFE-THREATENING; MADE A PA TO PAX AND TOLD THEM SIT IS UNDER CTL AND PROCEEDING TO MIA. AS SOON AS WITHIN RADIO RANGE OF MIA; CONTACTED MIA OPS REQUESTING PARAMEDICS MEET ACFT; THAT THEY COME UP REAR STAIRS TO ASSIST MR PAX LYING DOWN IN ROW. ALSO REQUESTED A PAX SVC REPRESENTATIVE MEET ACFT TO HELP ASSIST PAX WHO WAS TRAVELING ON TO PANAMA TO CONNECTION AT XB33; BACKED-UP CALL TO DISPATCHER; RELAYING ALL PERTINENT INFO AND SIT UNDER CTL. LANDED MIA AT XA55; ARRIVED AT GATE. ONCE ACFT SECURED; LEFT FLT DECK; WENT UP AFT STAIRS TO CHK OUT SIT. MIA EMT'S JUST LEAVING; SAID PAX OK. TALKED ONCE AGAIN TO RN AND FLT ATTENDANTS. ALL AGREED ONCE SIT BECAME CLR; PAX RESPONDING; COLOR RETURNING; NO LONGER A MEDICAL EMER. THANKED RN; GAVE HER A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE AND HAD PAX SVC REPRESENTATIVE UPGRADE HER TO FIRST CLASS ON OUR ACR TO MONTEGO BAY. MIA PAX REPRESENTATIVE DID A GOOD JOB AS WELL AS FLT ATTENDANTS.
