THE PF (FO) ASKED THE PNF (CAPT) TO CONFIRM WITH TWR THEY WERE CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 06R AT ANC. THE TWR INTERRUPTED THE EFFORT WITH A CAUTION JET BLAST FROM DEPARTING B767. THE ATIS STATED RWY 06R WAS CLOSED. THE PF WAS OCCUPIED ON DOWNWIND TALKING TO COMPANY. THERE WAS LIGHT ACFT FOR RWY 06L ON L BASE WITH THE RPTR ON R BASE. THE FLC WAS TOLD TO GAR THE RWY 06R WAS CLOSED. THE CAPT DETERMINED IT WAS TOO LATE TO GAR.
AFTER 5 HR 30 MIN FLT (ATW-ANC) WE WERE APPROX 20 MI E OF ANCHORAGE. WE WERE CLRED FOR A RWY 06 VISUAL; TO FOLLOW AN ACR JET 10 MI AHEAD. THE COPLT WAS FLYING FROM THE R SEAT. THIS WAS HIS THIRD LNDG IN TYPE. ON DOWNWIND; APPROX 3500 FT I MADE A 15 SECOND CALL TO COMPANY ON THIRD RADIO. AT THIS POINT THE ACR B737 WAS ON GND AND OUT OF SIGHT. AS THE COPLT WAS TURNING A 3 MI R BASE; WE WERE TOLD BY LCL CTL OF A PIPER ON L BASE TO RWY 06L. WE WERE VERY CONCERNED; DUE TO NO VISUAL CONTACT WITH PIPER. AT THIS ARPT RWY 06R IS USED FOR ILS AND JET TFC AND RWY 06L FOR LIGHT ACFT. AT THIS POINT WE LINED UP WITH RWY 06R. THE COPLT WAS BUSY CONFIGURING THE LNDG FLAPS; AND I WAS COMPLETING A CHKLIST. WE WERE BOTH STILL VERY CONCERNED WITH A POTENTIAL TFC HAZARD. I COMMENTED FOR HIM TO STAY TO THE R. THE COPLT QUESTIONED ME IF WE ARE NOW CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 06R. WE ARE NOW AT 300 FT OR LESS. AS I REACH FOR MIKE BUTTON TO ASK FOR CONFIRMATION; WE ARE DIRECTED BY TWR TO CAUTION JET BLAST FROM DEPARTING B767 ON RWY 32 AT OUR PRESENT DSCNT RATE; IT APPEARS IT WILL PUT US TOUCHING DOWN RIGHT BEHIND ACR JET BLAST. I INSTRUCTED THE COPLT TO LAND SHORT OF ACR JET WAKE AND I HAD BEEN IN THIS SIT BEFORE. I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO ASK ATC ABOUT LNDG CLRNC. I PERCEIVED A GREATER THREAT FROM JET BLAST. DURING FLARE TWR INSTRUCTED US TO GAR; THAT RWY 06R WAS CLOSED. WE WERE ALREADY UNSPOOLED AND COMMITTED TO LAND. I SCANNED THE RWY AND IT APPEARED CLR. I RADIOED TWR THAT IT WAS TOO LATE; WE WERE TOUCHING DOWN; AND WE WOULD STOP SHORT; 1500 FT OR LESS; THE RWY WAS CLR OF MEN AND EQUIP AND WE TAXIED IN.
