Synopsis

TXWY WT LIMIT NOT CLRLY DEFINED OR NOTED ON ARPT DIAGRAM PAGE. APPARENT LACK OF TXWY LIGHTING ALERTED FLC TO QUESTION TWR ABOUT WT RESTR.

Narrative

REASSIGNED TO A LATE NIGHT FERRY FLT TO TULSA. LANDED ON RWY 26. FOLLOWED THE LINE OF BLUE TAXI LIGHTS AT TXWY N TO EXIT. AS THE TURN PROGRESSED IT BECAME EVIDENT THE TAXI LIGHTS STOPPED SHORTLY AFTER THE TURN OFF PAD. THE ILLUSION OF A CONTINUOUS LINE WAS CAUSED BY THE LIGHTS THE NEXT TXWY OVER MERGING WITH THE LIGHTS AT TXWY N FROM THE RWY VANTAGE POINT. I STOPPED ON THE CONCRETE PAD AT THE TXWY N TURNOFF STILL IN THE BLUE LIGHTED AREA AND WELL SHORT OF THE BLACKTOP TXWY FAR AHEAD OF ME. WE DISCUSSED THE WT BEARING CAPABILITY OF TXWY N WITH THE TWR. NEITHER COMPANY PAGES NOR CHART MAKER PAGES LISTED ANY RESTRS ON THE USE OF TXWY N. WE HELD POS. TWR FOUND THE LOAD LIMITS OF TXWY N AND RPTED THE BLACKTOP WAS NOT STRESSED FOR OUR LOAD. WE GOT A TUG TO PUSH US BACK ON TO RWY 08/26 AND TAXIED TO THE MAINT RAMP. I VERIFIED WITH THE PUSH CREW THAT WE WERE ALWAYS ON CONCRETE AND PHONED THE TWR TO PASS THE INFO ALONG AND TO VERIFY THE CONCRETE PAD OFF THE RWY AT TXWY N WAS STRESSED FOR OUR WT. TWR SAID THEY DID NOT THINK A PROB EXISTED.
