PLT PAX ACCIDENTALLY RETRACTED THE LNDG GEAR AFTER LNDG TOUCHDOWN BELIEVING THAT HE WAS RETRACTING THE WING FLAPS.
A PLT FRIEND NEEDED A RIDE TO PICK UP HIS MOONEY 231 IN DANBURY; CT. WE MET AT MY HANGAR AT APPROX XA40 AND WE PERFORMED A HOUSEKEEPING CHORE IN THE HANGAR BEFORE DEPARTING. WE FINALLY TOOK OFF IFR AROUND XB20 PM FOR DANBURY. ALTHOUGH HANSCOM WAS CLR; DANBURY WAS RPTING 2000 FT CEILING AND 3 MI VISIBILITY IN LIGHT SNOW. WE NEEDED AN IFR CLRNC TO GET INTO DANBURY AND THE NORMAL 'FISHHOOK' ROUTING WAS GIVEN AS OUR CLRNC. THIS WAS TO HARTFORD THEN DOWN TO MADISON; BRIDGEPORT; AND THEN THE RYMES INTXN TO DANBURY. WHEN WE REACHED DANBURY; WE WERE GIVEN THE LOC 8 APCH AND WE BROKE OUT AT ABOUT 1700 FT WITH MORE THAN 3 MI VISIBILITY IN LIGHT SNOW. WE WERE A LITTLE HIGH TO LAND ON RWY 8 DOWNWIND SO I CIRCLED FOR LNDG TO RWY 26. AS WE TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RWY AND STARTED TO ROLL OUT; MY PAX; COMPLETELY TO MY SURPRISE; REACHED OVER AND PULLED UP THE GEAR HANDLE AND ANNOUNCED 'FLAPS UP.' THIS HAPPENED SO FAST AS I WAS CONCENTRATING ON THE LNDG ROLLOUT THAT ALL I COULD DO IS SAY NO! THE NOSE DROPPED TO THE RWY PAVEMENT AND THEN THE R WING LOWERED TO THE RWY AS WELL AND WE SKIDDED ON THE PAVEMENT AND SWERVED TO THE R SIDE OF THE RWY. WHEN THE PLANE CAME TO A STOP IT WAS STILL ON THE RWY ANGLED TO THE N SIDE OF THE RWY.
