RPTED SIT OF RPTR'S B727 ABORT TKOF ON RWY 27L AFTER OBSERVING A BE1900 OVER THE APCH LIGHTS FOR INTERSECTING RWY 30. THE B727 STOPPED SHORT OF RWY 30.
WE WERE CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD ON RWY 27L AS ANOTHER ACFT DEPARTED AHEAD OF US. AFTER APPROX 2 MINS; WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF. AS I ADVANCED THE THROTTLES AND BEGAN THE TKOF ROLL; THE FO SAW WHAT APPEARED TO BE AN ACFT ON SHORT FINAL FOR RWY 30 ON THE TCASII SCREEN. I LOOKED OUT THE L WINDOW AND TO OUR REAR AND SAW A BE1900 OVER THE LIGHTS FOR RWY 30. I ABORTED THE TKOF AT APPROX 20 KTS AND STOPPED SHORT OF THE RWY 27L/30 INTXN. THE BE1900 CROSSED ABOVE AND AHEAD OF US. WE TAXIED BACK FOR ANOTHER TKOF. THE LCL CTLR COMMENTED ABOUT HIS ERROR TO THE BE1900 PLT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 297020: MIA TWR CLRED THE B737 FOR TKOF ON RWY 27L AND TOLD HIM THAT THERE WAS A COMMUTER TURBOPROP ACFT ON A 1 MI FINAL APCH FOR RWY 30. WE WERE CLRED INTO POS TO HOLD ON RWY 27L BEHIND THE DEPARTING B737. ATC (MIA TWR) CLRED US FOR TKOF. AS SOON AS I FINISHED ACKNOWLEDGING THE TKOF INSTRUCTIONS TO ATC; I ASKED THE CAPT TO LOOK OUT HIS L REAR QUARTER WINDOW. I TOLD THE CAPT THAT THERE WAS AN ACFT ON SHORT FINAL FOR RWY 30. AT THE SAME TIME I NOTED A TARGET ON THE TCASII APCHING OUR L REAR QUARTER INDICATING 300 FT AND THEN THE TARGET DISAPPEARED. THE CAPT VISUALLY CONFIRMED THE ACFT APCHING RWY 30 AND ABORTED THE TKOF STOPPING OUR ACFT BEFORE REACHING THE INTXN OF RWY 27L AND RWY 30. I RPTED THE ABORT TO ATC AND HE (MIA TWR CTLR) APOLOGIZED SAYING THAT HE HAD MISTAKENLY CLRED US FOR TKOF. THE COMMUTER ACFT TOLD MIA TWR THAT HE SAW US ROLLING AND WAS ABOUT TO GAR.
