A HIGH TIME STUDENT PLT ABORTS TKOF WHEN ACFT DOES NOT WANT TO ROTATE. ELEVATOR TRIM WAS ROLLED FORWARD.
DEPARTED EAST COOPER ARPT (8S5) FOR CHS. PERFORMED ROUTINE (AS FAR AS ENTERING AIRSPACE) ON RADIO. INBOUND FOR CHS I CONTACTED THE TWR AS INSTRUCTED BY APCH CTL. TWR INSTRUCTED ME TO KEEP MY SPD UP ON THE APCH PHASE OF RWY 21. ANOTHER ACFT WAS BEHIND ME. AS I GOT CLOSER TO RWY 21; MY AIRSPD WAS AROUND 100 KTS (C152) DSNDED ON THE FINAL APCH; I WAS STILL KEEPING MY SPD UP. OVER THE FENCE; MY AIRSPD WAS TOO HIGH. WAS NOT EVEN LOOKING AT MY AIRSPD THE WHOLE TIME. FLOATED DOWN THE RWY (WHICH IS 7000 FT LONG) AND STOPPED NEAR THE MIDDLE. TAXIED TO THE FBO; GOT OUT OF PLANE FOR A FEW MINS THEN GOT BACK IN; READYING FOR DEP. DID A QUICK RUNDOWN OF SOME FLT INSTS. CHKED NAV LIGHTS; MIXTURE. STARTED ENG; CHKING THE OIL PRESSURE; ALTIMETER AND SUCTION GAUGE. ADJUSTED THE ALTIMETER SETTING AND GOT APPROVAL TO TAXI BACK TO RWY 21. AT THE RUNUP AREA; I DID A MAGNETO CHK. CONTACTED THE TWR; GOT PERMISSION TO TAKE OFF AT MY DISCRETION. GOT ONTO RWY 21 AND ACCELERATED. WIND WAS A LITTLE BREEZY (030 DEGS AT 9 KTS). NOTICED THAT MY TKOF ROLL IS LONGER THAN USUAL. GLANCED AT AIRSPD (60 KTS); CONTINUED PRESSING ON. PLANE STARTED TO GET DARTY. THAT'S WHEN I GLANCED DOWN AT MY ELEVATOR TRIM WHEEL. IT WAS SET AT THE LAST POS WHEN I WAS DSNDING INBOUND; DOWN TRIM. PULLED BACK THE THROTTLE; ABORTING THE TKOF. JUST BEFORE I PULLED BACK; THE PLANE WAS ON THE VERGE OF A GND LOOP. FOR A FEW SECONDS THERE I PRACTICALLY FROZE. I FEEL MY ACTIONS SHOULD HAVE COME TO ME FASTER. CONTACTED TWR OF MY ABORTED TKOF. TWR INSTRUCTED ME TO THE END OF THE RWY. TAXIED BACK TO RWY 21. THE TWR WAS PATIENT AS THEY GUIDED ME BACK. BEGAN TO CALM DOWN. TOOK OFF UNEVENTFULLY. DID A COMPLETE PRETKOF CHK BEFORE HAND. FEEL THAT IF I HAD MORE RECENT FLT TIME (HAD 2 SICK PARENTS; GAVE UP FLYING FOR A LITTLE WHILE) MY BEING PRESSURED TO COME IN WOULD HAVE BEEN HANDLED BETTER. HAVE DONE 2 SOLO APCHS TO THIS ARPT BEFORE; BUT NOT RECENTLY. AND I WILL ALWAYS FROM NOW ON DO A THOROUGH PRETKOF RUNUP; CHKING ALL SETTINGS.
