AT72 AND CL65 CRJ HAD TCASII RA'S AND A POTENTIAL CONFLICT.
CLBING OUT OF ATL; OUT OF 8500 FT; WE RECEIVED A TCASII ALERT; FOLLOWED BY RA 'CLB!' LOOKED AT 8 O'CLOCK POS AND OBSERVED A COMPANY CRJ AIMED AT US. WE CONTINUED OUR CLB; APPROX 1200-1500 FPM (MAX CLB AT OUR GROSS WT). WE HEARD THE ATL DEP CTLR TELL OUR COMPANY FLT TO LEVEL AT 7500 FT MSL. WE OBSERVED OUR COMPANY CRJ ALMOST DIRECTLY BELOW US IN A STEEP (MORE THAN 30 DEG) L BANK. I SPOKE TO OTHER CAPT VIA RADIO ABOUT THE NEAR MISS. WE BELIEVE THE DEP CTLR WAS LATE IN TURNING THE CRJ SBOUND. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 419521: WE WERE DEPARTING ATL OFF RWY 27R CLBING THROUGH 6500 FT. WE WERE GIVEN A TURN TO 170 DEGS (FROM A 255 DEG HDG). AT 6500 FT WE HAD A TA ON THE TCASII. MY FO SAW THE TFC AT 2 O'CLOCK POS (AN ATR 72 CLBING OUT OF ABOUT 9000 FT). WE BEGAN A LEVELOFF AT THAT TIME. WE THEN GOT AN RA ON THE TCASII AND ATL TOLD US TO STOP OUR CLB AT 7500 FT. WE ASCENDED TO 8200 FT BEFORE WE COULD STOP THE CLB (DUE TO OUR MOMENTUM). TO MY KNOWLEDGE; WE WERE NEVER CLOSER THAN 500-1000 FT HORIZ. I BELIEVE OUR CLB AND CLOSURE RATES MADE IT LOOK CLOSER ON THE TCASII. ATC WORKLOAD AT THE TIME WAS VERY HVY.
