DC8 CARGO CREW TURNED ONTO TXWY F UNDER LOW VISIBILITY CONDITIONS. TXWY F IS WT RESTR.
ON DEC/WED/98; I WAS THE FO ABOARD ACR ABCD OPERATING MKE-PDX. THE WX DETERIORATED THROUGHOUT THE AM AT PDX TO CAT II MINIMUMS. PER COMPANY PROCS THE CAPT BRIEFED CAT II PROCS FROM THE APPROPRIATE ILS CHART (RWY 10R); HE ALSO INCLUDED THE LOW VISIBILITY TAXI CHART COMMERCIAL 10-9C. THE APCH TO RWY 10R WAS MADE WITH TOUCHDOWN ZONE RVR 2000 FT; MID APPROX 1200 FT AND ROLLOUT 1000 FT. TOUCHDOWN WAS UNEVENTFUL AS WELL AS ROLLOUT; WE CAME TO TAXI SPD JUST SHORT OF TXWY F. WANTING TO EXIT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE THE CAPT TURNED R ONTO TXWY F. AS WE WERE DOING THIS THE TWR ADVISED TAXI ON DOWN THE RWY TO TXWY C6. WE WERE ALREADY ON TXWY F AND OBVIOUSLY THE TWR DID NOT SEE US. WE ADVISED WE WERE ON TXWY F; TWR QUICKLY SAID 'TXWY F IS NOT STRESSED CONTACT GND 121.9;' WHICH WE DID; THEY ADVISED TO TAXI TO OUR RAMP. AS FAR AS I KNOW NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO TXWY OR ACFT. FACTORS: ARPT DIAGRAM COMMERCIAL 10-9 HAS NOTE THAT TXWY F IS NOT STRESSED FOR ACFT OVER 65000 LBS; LOW VISIBILITY CHART DOES NOT HAVE NOTE FOR TXWY F. WE ACTUALLY SHOOT VERY FEW CAT II; LOW VISIBILITY APCHS A YR; DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH TO STAY CURRENT ON LOW VISIBILITY PROCS. THIS WAS MY FIRST ACTUAL CAT II APCH AS AN FO. TWR SHOULD ADVISE WHERE THEY RECOMMEND A TAXI TURN-OFF; IE; L OR R.
