PLT OF AN ATX BEECH KING AIR 90 WAS INSTRUCTED BY TWR CTLR TO MAKE A 180 DEG TURN ON THE RWY; AFTER LNDG; AND TAXI BACK TO A RWY INTXN FOR TAXI IN TO PARKING. HOWEVER; THE PLT AND PAX NOTICED A BEECH BONANZA ON FINAL COMING RIGHT FOR THEM. WHEN THE RPTR AND HIS PAX OBSERVED THIS; HE PWRED UP EXPEDITE TO THE INTXN IN ORDER TO CLR THE RWY.

Narrative

AFTER BEING CLRED TO LAND AND WHILE ROLLING OUT ON RWY 34 AT PWK; THE TWR CTLR ASKED IF WE COULD DO 180 DEGS ON THE RWY AND TAXI BACK. I SAID THAT WE COULD BUT WE WERE ONLY A COUPLE HUNDRED FT FROM TXWY M AND I SAID WE COULD GET OFF AT TXWY M. IT IS EASIER FOR US TO TAXI OFF THE RWY THAN TO DO A 180 DEG TURN ON THE RWY. SHE SAID SHE WOULD PREFER WE DO A 180 DEG TURN ON THE RWY AND TAXI BACK EXITING AT RWY 12. AFTER I COMPLETED THE 180 DEG TURN; I NOTICED A BONANZA ON SHORT FINAL TO THE RWY WE WERE NOW TAXIING BACK ON. THE CTLR MENTIONED THAT WE SHOULD EXPEDITE OUR TAXI BACK AND EXIT ON RWY 12. THE CTLR ALSO TOLD THE BONANZA THAT WE WOULD BE CLRING SHORTLY AND THAT THEY WERE CLR TO LAND. WE HAD TO APPLY AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF PWR TO ACCELERATE QUICKLY ENOUGH TO GO THE 1000 FT NEEDED TO GET TO THE NEXT OPPORTUNITY TO EXIT. KEEP IN MIND WE ARE ACTUALLY CLOSING WITH THE OTHER ACFT. I AM SHOCKED AND CONCERNED THAT: 1) WE WERE EVEN ASKED TO DO A 180 DEG TURN AND TAXI BACK. I AM UNCLR WHAT ADVANTAGE IT SERVED. 2) THAT THE BONANZA WAS NEVER GIVEN GAR INSTRUCTIONS. THE CONFLICT WAS SO APPARENT; OUR PAX IN THE BACK LOOKING FORWARD WERE VERY CONCERNED.
