B757 CREW HAD SMOKE AND FUMES IN COCKPIT. THEY WERE ALSO CONFRONTED WITH ENG FAILURE.
AIR INTERRUPT DUE TO SMOKE IN CABIN. FLT ATTENDANT ADVISED COCKPIT CREW OF SMOKE IN CABIN. 2 PLTS OCCUPIED THE JUMP SEAT. THE SMOKE ODOR AND HAZE WAS APPARENT AND THICKENING. CREW WENT ON OXYGEN. CAPT REQUESTED DIVERT TO NASSAU; CABIN OR COCKPIT FIRE/SMOKE CHKLIST AND THE EMER LNDG CHKLIST. THE CAPT FLEW AND RAN THE RADIOS WHILE THE FO RAN THE CHKLIST. THE CAPT ALSO ENLISTED ONE OF THE JUMP SEATERS TO PULL APCH PLATES AND HELP AS NEEDED RESULTING IN A 3 MAN CREW USING A VARIETY OF COM MEANS. A NIGHT DSCNT IN THE WX WITH OXYGEN MASKS ON INTO AN UNPLANNED FIELD WITH AN UNEXPECTED THIRD CREW MEMBER LED TO POOR COMS. THE CAPT NOTING AN ENG OIL PRESSURE EICAS MESSAGE; OBSERVED LOW OIL PRESSURE AND ZERO OIL QUANTITY DURING THE DSCNT CALLED FOR THE APPROPRIATE CHKLISTS. THE R ENG OIL PRESSURE ENG FIRE DAMAGE SHUTDOWN AND 1 ENG APCH AND GAR CHKLIST WERE RUN. ALSO DURING THIS TIME; THE FA ASKED IF THE OXYGEN COULD BE DEPLOYED AS THE SMOKE WAS BECOMING INTOLERABLE TO THE PAX. THE FO DID NOT CONSULT THE CHKLIST REGARDING THIS AS OXYGEN FOR THE PAX WITH SMOKE IN THE CABIN IS STANDARD PROC ON THE MIL ACFT HE FLIES. FO ADVISED THE CAPT OF INTENT TO DEPLOY THE OXYGEN AND UPON PERCEIVING A POSITIVE RESPONSE DID SO. THE NORMAL CHKLISTS WERE RUN AND ACFT WAS LANDED UNEVENTFULLY AT NASSAU. AN EMER WAS NOT DECLARED. THE ACFT WAS TAXIED TO THE JETBRIDGE; THE PAX DEPLANED AND TAKEN BY A SUBSEQUENT ACFT TO SAN JUAN.
