GEAR UP LNDG IN A C182 FOLLOWED BY A PEDESTRIAN RWY INCURSION AT SEE; CA.
OWNER AND FRIEND FLYING HOME FROM DAYTONA. OWNER IS RATED CFI; NOT FLYING. FRIEND WAS ATP; DESIGNATED PF. FRIEND WAS NOT CURRENT IN ACFT; HAVING FLOWN IT ONLY ONCE BEFORE. OWNER WAS INSTRUCTING PF AS WE ENTERED PATTERN. AT THE TIME; OWNER WAS DOING LNDG CHKLIST AND PUT 10 DEGS FLAPS. WOULD HAVE PUT GEAR DOWN THEN; BUT WAS DISTR BY TFC. CONTINUING AROUND THE BASE AND FINAL APCH. OWNER INSTRUCTED FROM R SEAT AS TO PWR SETTINGS; LNDG CUES; GEOGRAPHY OF PATTERN AND CONFIGN. ALL OTHER ITEMS OF LNDG CHKLIST WERE COMPLETED. AS WE APCHED RWY 27R; I PUT FULL FLAPS AND INSTRUCTED PF TO 'HOLD THE NOSE OFF.' HE DID. WE SETTLED SOFTLY TO PAVEMENT AND GEAR WERE NOT DOWN. UGH! GEAR WARNING HORN DID NOT SOUND. BOTH OF US DISTR BY TFC. ALSO CONTRIBUTING WAS FATIGUE. PNF (ME) (OWNER) (CFI) WAS FATIGUED FROM HAVING FLOWN ALL NIGHT THE NIGHT BEFORE AND HAD BEEN AT A MEETING ALL DAY WITH NO SLEEP AND VERY LITTLE FOOD. WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE 'SAFE' TO HAVE A 'SAFETY PLT' FLY HOME IN LEFT SEAT! WRONG! SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 468889: A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE TWR CAME DOWN TO THE RWY AND ADVISED ME THAT HE WAS FILING A DEV REGARDING A RWY INCURSION. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 468277: AFTER MY ACFT LANDED WHEELS UP ON RWY 27R AT SEE ARPT; THE PLT AND I WERE WALKING DOWN THE CLOSED RWY ABOUT 200 FT TO PICK UP DEBRIS FROM ACFT INCIDENT. APPARENTLY WE INADVERTENTLY CROSSED THROUGH THE INTXN OF RWY 17/35 AND RWY 27R TWR SAID WE WALKED ON ACTIVE RWY; BUT WE THOUGHT THE RWY 27R WAS CLOSED (IT WAS). WE DID NOT REALIZE RWY 17/35 WAS OPEN. THE ACFT HAD SLID THROUGH THE INTXN AND THERE WAS DEBRIS FROM THE ACFT IN THE INTXN. ACTUALLY RWY 17/35 SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLOSED SINCE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN UNSAFE TO TKOF OR LAND ON IT DUE TO SEVERAL BROKEN ANTENNAE AND SOME PLASTIC PARTS THAT WERE LAYING IN THE INTXN. ANYWAY; WE WERE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT PICKING UP DEBRIS THAN THINKING WE WERE IN AN INTXN -- NOT KNOWING FOR SURE WHETHER OR NOT IT WAS CLOSED.
