Narrative

AT FL290 ON AIRWAY; HEARD LOUD POPPING FROM OVERHEAD CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL; FOLLOWED BY RADIO STATIC AND THEN SMOKE COMING FROM THE OVERHEAD; DONNED OXYGEN MASKS AND BEGAN TO TROUBLESHOOT THE PROB. INVESTIGATED THE SOURCE OF THE SMOKE AND DETERMINED SMOKE HAD STOPPED. DISCUSSED POSSIBLE ACTIONS AND DIVERT OPTIONS. NOTIFIED COMPANY OF INTENTION TO DIVERT GOT WX FOR XXXX AND ZZZZ DECLARED EMER AND GOT VECTORS TO ZZZZ COMPLIED WITH ALL OPERATIONAL COMPANY PROCS REGARDING SMOKE IN COCKPIT.
