D01 CTLR ARGUES WITH CL60 FLC REGARDING TURNS AND SPD WHEN DEPARTING APA ARPT.
ON DEP FROM APA ARPT; PIKES 2 DEP; CLBING TO 8000 FT ON A RWY HDG (350 DEG HDG). AFTER MAKING CONTACT WITH DEN DEP WE WERE ASSIGNED A HDG OF 090 DEGS; THEN HDG 140 DEGS AT WHICH TIME WE WERE TOLD BY THE CTLR TO EXPEDITE (WE WERE HVY AND COULD NOT EXCEED 30 DEGS OF BANK). WE TURNED AT AN ANGLE OF 30 DEGS MAINTAINING 250 KIAS; AND ADVISED THE CTLR THAT WE COULD NOT EXCEED 30 DEGS OF BANK IN THE TURN AND WE WERE DOING WHAT WE COULD TO EXPEDITE THE TURN. AT THIS TIME; THE CTLR GAVE US AN IMMEDIATE TURN TO 270 DEG HDG AND RE-EMPHASIZED TO EXPEDITE. WE ONCE AGAIN ADVISED THE CTLR THAT WE COULD NOT EXCEED 30 DEGS OF BANK. THE CTLR REPLIED BY SAYING 'THAT WAS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE' AND MENTIONED THAT WE WERE DOING 320 KTS OVER THE GND. REGARDLESS OF GND SPD; WE NEVER EXCEEDED 250 KIAS UNDER 10000 FT. WHEN WE TOLD HIM THAT WE NEVER EXCEEDED 250 KIAS; HE REPLIED WITH 'WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT.' THEN THE CTLR GAVE US A CLRNC TO CLIMB TO 9000 FT. THE CTLR TOLD US TO CALL THE CTR UPON ARR AT DEST. IMMEDIATELY AFTER COPYING THE NUMBER; HE INSTRUCTED US TO MAINTAIN 8000 FT; AFTER HE HAD CLRED US TO CLB TO 9000 FT. AS SOON AS OUR DUTIES IN THE COCKPIT ALLOWED US; WE CALLED ZDV. THE OTHER PLT SPOKE TO THE SUPVR WHO SAID THAT THE CTLR WAS JUST CONCERNED ABOUT US GOING INTO DENVER INTL ARR AIRSPACE; BUT ALL WE DID WAS ADHERE TO ALL THE HDGS AND ALTS ASSIGNED TO US BY THE CTLR; IN COMPLIANCE WITH AIRSPDS.
