A B752 CREW; DEPARTING SFO; WERE TOLD BY DEP; TO INTERCEPT THE NOISE ABATEMENT SID; AFTER BEING ASSIGNED A STANDARD; (NON NOISE ABATEMENT) DEP.
THERE WERE NO OTHER ACFT INVOLVED. THE FO COPIED AND READ BACK OUR CLRNC WITH SFO CLRNC DELIVERY: 'CLRED TO LAS ARPT VIA THE SFO 8 DEP; RADAR VECTORS LIN; AS FILED. MAINTAINED 15000 FT.' WE BRIEFED THE CLRNC AFTER HE (FO) COMPLETED THE TKOF DATA CARD. MOST TIMES OF THE DAY IT IS A 12-15 MIN TAXI TO THE RWY FOR TKOF. WE LEFT AT XA45 LT. THERE WERE NO ACFT TAXIING IN OUR VICINITY ON THE ARPT OR ALONG OUR TAXI RTE TO RWY 1R. IT WAS A SHORT TAXI TO TKOF; OF APPROX 7 MINS. I WAS THE PF AND AT 400 FT AGL STARTED MY R TURN TO 030 DEGS PER THE SFO 8 SID. THE TWR TOLD US TO CONTACT BAY DEP AFTER STARTING OUR R TURN. THE FO CONTACTED BAY DEP WHO ACKNOWLEDGED THE INITIAL CALL. AT APPROX 6000 FT ON A 030 DEG HDG; BAY DEP TOLD US TO TURN L TO 310 DEG HDG; RADAR VECTORS TO JOIN THE QUIET 2 SID. THE FO AND I BOTH LOOKED AT EACH OTHER AND THEN VERIFIED THE CLRNC ON OUR TKOF DATA CARD. IT WAS THE SFO 8 SID AND THE FO TOLD THE CTLR OF OUR ASSIGNMENT. BAY DEP ACKNOWLEDGED US AND THEN SAID; 'FLY HDG 310 DEGS RADAR VECTORS FOR NOISE ABATEMENT.' WE WERE SHORTLY CLRED DIRECT LIN VORTAC; THEN AS FILED. I THINK SFO CLRNC DELIVERY AND SFO TWR THOUGHT WE WOULD BE AIRBORNE AT OR AFTER XB00 LT. WE BEGAN OUR TKOF ROLL APPROX XA52 LT. WHEN BAY DEP TOLD US TO TURN TO L HDG 310 DEGS; IT WAS APPROX XA56 LT. AT XB00 LT; BAY APCH CHANGES FROM THE QUIET 2 TO THE SFO 8 SID OR AFTER SID BASED ON LCL WX CONDITIONS. THE QUIET 2 PRIOR TO XB00 LT FOR NOISE ABATEMENT. MANY TIMES CLRNC DELIVERY WILL ISSUE THE SFO 8 ASSUMING THE FLT WILL BE AIRBORNE AT XB00 OR LATER. THIS DAY THE TAXI WAS UNUSUALLY QUICK IN TIME DUE TO NO TFC. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 542247: WHEN I RECEIVED THE CLRNC FROM SFO TO LAS; I COPIED ON THE TKOF DATA CARD AND READ BACK SFO 8 DEP RADAR VECTORS TO LINDEN AS FILED. I AM 100% SURE THAT I READ BACK THE SFO 8 AS FILED.
