BELL 407 PLT CROSSES DEP END OF ACTIVE RWY WITHOUT CLRNC.
ON MAY/SUN/02 I WAS FLYING FROM ZZZ TO ZZZ1. UPON RECEIVING MY INITIAL CLRNC TO ENTER THE ZZZ1 CLASS B AIRSPACE; I WAS INITIALLY INSTRUCTED TO REMAIN N OF RWY 26. AS I APCHED THE ARPT FROM THE N; I WAS GIVEN CLRNC TO CROSS RWY 26 AND LAND AT THE FBO RAMP AREA. AT THE TIME I WAS GIVEN MY LNDG CLRNC; I WAS ABOUT 1/2 MI W OF THE DEP END OF THE RWYS AND ALMOST ABEAM RWY 26 (STILL FLYING S; AND ON A L BASE FOR LNDG E TO THE RAMP). I IDENTED MY INTENDED LNDG AREA; INTERCEPTED MY DESIRED APCH ANGLE; AND INITIATED MY APCH WHILE ON BASE. AT THIS POINT I LOOKED INSIDE THE COCKPIT MOMENTARILY TO TOGGLE COM #2 TO THE FREQ FOR FBO; AND WHILE LOOKING INSIDE THE ACFT I ALSO RECONFIRMED MY BEFORE LNDG CHK. THIS ONLY TOOK 3 OR 4 SECONDS; BUT WHEN I LOOKED BACK OUTSIDE THE ACFT; I LOOKED AT AND MISIDENTED RWY 25R AS RWY 26. (ZZZ1 ARPT HAS PARALLEL RWYS.) I CROSSED OVER THE EXTENDED CTRLINE OF RWY 25R BEFORE I REALIZED MY MISTAKE. ATC MADE ME AWARE OF MY ERROR AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME I REALIZED IT MYSELF. THE CTLR THEN ASKED ME TO CALL THE TWR AFTER LNDG. THE TWR CTLR INFORMED ME THAT SHE HAD TO FILE A PLTDEV RPT AS A RESULT OF MY ERROR. THERE WAS AN ACFT DEPARTING RWY 25R WHEN I CROSSED THE EXTENDED CTRLINE BUT THE COMBINATION OF HIS ROTATION POINT AND HIS STEEP ANGLE OF CLB (FOR NOISE ABATEMENT PURPOSES; I BELIEVE) RESULTED IN VERT SEPARATION THAT I BELIEVE WAS MORE THAN ADEQUATE FOR SAFE MARGINS. BEING IN THE LNDG PHASE; MY LOW ALT ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO THAT SEPARATION.
