Synopsis

B737-300 CREW RPTS AFTER THOROUGH ACFT AND ENG DEICING THE ENGS WERE NOT DAMAGED AT DEST.

Narrative

WE FLEW FROM DEN TO DSM. I (FO) PERFORMED THE WALKAROUND INSPECTION; DURING WHICH I REALIZED THE ACFT WOULD HAVE TO BE DEICED DUE TO A BUILDUP OF RIME ICE ON THE LNDG GEAR FROM INFLT ICING. A DEICING CREW INFORMED ME THEY WOULD BE DEICING THE LNDG GEAR AND ENGS AT THE GATE. I COMPLETED MY WALKAROUND INSPECTION; NOTING THAT THE DEICE CREW HAD DEICED BOTH ENGS AND THAT BOTH FANS TURNED FREELY. WE STARTED BOTH ENGS; TAXIED FROM THE GATE ON TXWY; TO AWAIT OUR TURN IN THE DEICE PAD. WE DEICED IN THE PAD; DURING WHICH WE SHUT DOWN #1 ENG; RAN THE APU FOR THE L PACK; AND RAN THE #2 ENG FOR THE R PACK (MY ESTIMATION ON ELAPSED TIME FROM THE GATE TO COMPLETION OF DEICING IS APPROX 12 MINS). WE STARTED THE #1 ENG; I COMPLETED A WING INSPECTION; AND WE TAXIED FOR TKOF ON RWY 34. APPROX 4 MINS ELAPSED FROM TAXIING FROM THE DEICE PAD TO TKOF ON RWY 34. WE ACCOMPLISHED ALL COLD WX OPS (ENG HEAT; IGNITERS; TKOF RUNUP) AS PER THE FLT MANUAL. WE DID NOT NOTICE ANY ABNORMAL INDICATIONS IN EITHER ENG DURING ANY OF THE DENVER GND OPS; TKOF RUNUP; TKOF; DEP; ENRTE; OR ARR PHASES INTO DSM.

Frequently asked questions

How do I search flights by aircraft type on FlightFinder?

Pick an aircraft model — Boeing 737, Airbus A320, A380, Boeing 787 Dreamliner and more — enter your origin airport, and FlightFinder shows every route that plane flies from there with live fares.

Which aircraft types can I filter by?

We support Boeing 737/747/757/767/777/787, the full Airbus A220/A319/A320/A321/A330/A340/A350/A380 family, Embraer E170/E175/E190/E195, Bombardier CRJ and Dash 8, and the ATR 42/72 turboprops.

Is FlightFinder free to use?

Search and schedules are free. Pro ($4.99/month, $39/year, or $99 one-time lifetime) unlocks the enriched flight card — on-time stats, CO₂ per passenger, amenities, live gate & weather — plus My Trips with push alerts.

Where does the route data come from?

Live schedules come from Amadeus, AeroDataBox and Travelpayouts. Observed routes (which aircraft actually flew a given city pair) are crowdsourced from adsb.lol ADS-B data under the Open Database License.
