LEARJET FO MISREADS LAS LYNSY RNAV STAR CAUSING A COURSE DEV.
WE WERE CLRED FOR THE LYNSY 1 ARR INTO LAS FOR LNDG ON RWY 19R. APCH CTL SWITCHED US TO A DIFFERENT ARR RTE FOR LNDG ON RWY 25L. AT THE TIME THIS OCCURRED; WE WERE NAVING VIA FMS. AFTER PASSING LYNSY WAYPOINT WAS THE TIME AT WHICH WE WERE RECLRED FOR RWY 25L. I HAD TO QUICKLY REPROGRAM THE FMS FOR THE CORRECT RTE. I MET WITH SOME TECHNICAL PROBS AT THIS POINT BECAUSE OUR COMPUTER NOW HAD A RTE BREAK. I HAD TO CONSULT THE TEXT DESCRIPTION OF THE CHART; WHICH SAID 'RWY 25L/R: THENCE UTARE....' THE APCH CTLR INFORMED US THAT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN NAVING TO MIROK WAYPOINT; 14 MI S OF UTARE. WE WERE ONLY 2 MI E OF MIROK WHEN WE TURNED THE ACFT TOWARDS UTARE WAYPOINT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE ARR. WE WERE BEING RUSHED OVER OR JUST BEFORE MIROK WAYPOINT AND WE HAD TO ACT QUICKLY TO GO TO THE NEW ROUTING. I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT APCH CTL AND I EXPLAINED THE CIRCUMSTANCES TO THE SUPVR OVER THE PHONE. THAT IS THE SIT THAT WE EXPERIENCED. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO ADD THAT THE TEXT DESCRIPTION OF THE ARR IS A LITTLE UNCLR. IT SAYS FROM OVER PGS VOR VIA 257 DEG COURSE TO LYNSY WAYPOINT. THENCE; RWYS 25L/R THENCE UTARE; THENCE DUSTO THENCE; FLY HDG 280 DEGS EXPECT RADAR VECTORS FOR ILS APCH. FOR EACH RWY THERE IS AN APPROPRIATE ROUTING; BUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND THE APPROPRIATE ROUTING IT SAYS IN SMALL NORMAL FONT PRINT 'FROM LYNSY WAYPOINT THENCE; MIROK' NEEDS TO BE BOLDER FACE PRINT SO AS NOT TO BE MISREAD.
