S80 CAPT OVERRIDES FO DUE TO COORD BREAKDOWN PRIOR TO DEP WHEN EXECUTING THE LAS WYLDD SID AS CHALLENGED BY L30 DEP CTLR.
DEPARTED LAS ON RWY 25R. ORIGINAL FILED DEP CLRNC WAS HOOVR 1 AND REVISED DEP CLRNC WAS WYLDD 2. I PLANNED ON FLYING THE WYLDD 2 AND STARTED MY TURN TOWARDS IDALE WITH CAPT'S CONFIRMATION. HE SAID TO MAINTAIN RWY HDG (255 DEGS AS PER THE HOOVR 1). AT 1-2 MI PAST THE TURN; DEP ASKED US IF WE HAD STARTED THE TURN TOWARDS IDALE FOR THE WYLDD 2. THE CAPT SAID NO; WE WERE ON RWY HDG AS HE HAD IT IN HIS MIND THAT WE WERE DOING THE HOOVR 1. DEP THEN GAVE US A L TURN TO 180 DEGS AND PROCEEDED TO GET US BACK ON THE WYLDD 2. I DON'T BELIEVE WE VIOLATED ANY AIRSPACE; BUT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED BY BETTER COM IN THE COCKPIT AND BETTER LISTENING BY ME TO THE CAPT'S DEP BRIEF. I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE SURE THAT WE ARE ON THE SAME CORRECT PAGE IN THE FUTURE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 574548: I; AS CAPT; BRIEFED FOR THE HOOVER 1 DEP. I SHOULD HAVE CHKED THE PDC; BECAUSE IT WAS CHANGED TO THE WYLDD RNAV 2. THE COPLT WAS AWARE OF THE CHANGE AND HAD REPROGRAMMED THE DEP IN THE GFMS. I SAW HIM DOING THIS; BUT I WAS DISTR AND IT NEVER REALLY SUNK IN. I REALIZED MY MISTAKE; AND DEP VECTORED US ON OUR WAY. I FAILED TO READ THE PDC; FAILED IN MY BRIEFING TO NAME THE DEP TO BE FLOWN; AND FAILED TO DOUBLECHK THE GFMS TO SEE THAT IT AGREED WITH DEP I THOUGHT WE WERE ON.
