C414 TAXING FOR DEP CONFLICTS WITH OTHER TAXIING ACFT AT EUG.

Narrative

WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 34. WE NEVER HEARD ANY OTHER TFC ON GND CTL. WE DEPARTED THE RAMP AND HEADED TOWARD RWY 34. WE MADE A R TURN ON TXWY H AND A L TURN ON TXWY A. THE RADIO BLARED 'GND CTL; DID YOU SEE THAT ACFT CUT ME OFF?' GND CTL ANSWERED; 'YES; WE SAW THAT.' I ANSWERED; 'WE NEVER SAW YOU.' WE CONTINUED ON TXWY A AND MADE A 180 DEG TURN TO FACE TFC AT THE DEP END OF RWY 34. NOTHING ELSE WAS SAID. I MUST ADMIT BOTH THE COPLT AND I HAD OUR HEADS IN THE COCKPIT INSTEAD OF JUST ME TAXIING; WATCHING MORE CAREFULLY. I ASSUME THE BONANZA PLT SAW US AND SLOWED OR STOPPED TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED BY GOOD HABITS IN THE COCKPIT; ME WATCHING OUTSIDE AND THE COPLT INSIDE. ALSO; GND CTL NEVER CALLED EITHER US OR THE BONANZA TO HOLD FOR THE OTHER. IF THEY ARE GND CTL THEY SHOULD HAVE CTLED THIS POTENTIAL HAZARD; AND THEY DID NOT. IN FACT; WHEN GND CTL ANSWERED THAT THEY SAW THIS HAPPENING; WE COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHY THEY DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING. THE BONANZA TOOK OFF AND WE FOLLOWED. I WILL NEVER TAXI ANOTHER ACFT WITH MY HEAD IN THE COCKPIT. MY LESSON IS LEARNED.
