MD80 CREW HAD A PERSONALITY CLASH THAT REQUIRED INTERVENTION BY THE ACR CHIEF PLT. THE CREW WAS SEPARATED AND NOT ALLOWED TO FLY TOGETHER.
FO RPTED ENG OVERTEMP. ON FLT FROM ZZZ-MSY; ENGS DID NOT SPIN UP EVENLY WHEN PUSHING THROTTLES FORWARD FOR TKOF. ACFT SHUT OFF EMER OVERRIDE MOMENTARILY SHUT OFF PACKS WHILE 1 ENG WAS SPUN UP AND OTHER WAS TILL SPINNING UP (PRIOR TO SELECTING AUTOTHROTTLES ON). THIS CAUSED A MOMENTARY PRESSURE BUMP IN THE CABIN PRESSURE. NEITHER ENG WAS 'OVERTEMPED' NOR EVEN CLOSE TO OVERTEMPING. FO DID NOT MENTION UNTIL MIDWAY THROUGH THE FOLLOWING LEG THAT HE BELIEVED AN ENG WAS OVERTEMPED ON THE PREVIOUS FLT DURING THE ENG SPIN-UP MENTIONED ABOVE. THIS ISSUE; AS WELL AS OTHER COM DIFFICULTIES; WERE BROUGHT IMMEDIATELY TO THE CHIEF PLT UPON ARR AT ZZZ AND DISCUSSED IN HIS OFFICE. AFTER FLYING WITH THIS CAPT FOR 2 LEGS (ZZZ-MSY-ZZZ); I KNOW BY MY TRAINING AND COMPANY POLICY THAT HE IS NOT STANDARD ON CHKLIST OR CALLOUTS DURING TAXI; TKOF; CLB; CRUISE; DSCNT; OR LNDG. AFTER WE BOTH TALKED TO CHIEF PLT ZZZ ON THIS MATTER; HE DECIDED FOR US NOT TO FLY THE REST OF THIS TRIP TOGETHER. I CONTINUED THIS TRIP.
