Synopsis

A B767 FLT CREW INADVERTENTLY TAXI ONTO A TXWY THAT IS NOTAMED FOR ACFT WITH WING SPANS THAT DON'T EXCEED 118 FT. THE TXWY WAS NOT MARKED AND THE FLT CREW COULDN'T FIND IT IN THE NOTAMS.

Narrative

LANDED ON RWY 33L AND TURNED OFF ON TXWY H. CONTACTED GND AND TOLD TO TAXI TO GATE. I TOOK THE INNER; WHICH IS TXWY A (NOT PUBLISHED FOR PORTION I TOOK WHICH EXISTS BETWEEN TXWY H AND F; IT'S NEW DUE TO EXPANSION AND NOT PUBLISHED YET). GND ASKED US TO STOP AND ASKED IF WE COULD DO A 180 DEG TURN TO TAKE TXWY P INSTEAD AS TXWY A WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO ACFT WITH WINGSPAN OVER 118 FT. I STOPPED ACFT; BUT COULDN'T TURN 180 DEGS. WE THEN CHKED ALL NOTAMS ATIS AND GND CHART 10-9 FINDING NOTHING NOTED FOR THIS TXWY SECTION LIMITING US. NO VISIBLE OBSTRUCTIONS NOTED. WE WAITED FOR ABOUT 10 MINS AND ASKED GND TO VERIFY THE RESTR. GND THEN CLRED US ON THE GATE VIA THIS SAME TXWY. AFTERWARD I CALLED THE TWR SUPVR WHO MENTIONED A LCL NOTAM 1011 THAT FSS HAD ON FILE REGARDING THE TXWY. HE ALSO APOLOGIZED FOR NOT RECORDING IT ON ATIS; AND SAID THAT THEY WERE STILL TRYING TO HAVE AN INTERIM CONSTRUCTION PLATE ASSIGNED FOR BWI. I THEN SPOKE WITH LCL OPS WHO CALLED AND HAD FAXED A COPY OF THE LCL NOTAM 1011 (WHICH THEY KNEW NOTHING OF) TO HAVE SENT TO THE NOTAM DESK AT COMPANY FOR INCLUSION IN FUTURE PLT BRIEF PAPERWORK. IN CONCLUSION; AS PART OF MY APCH BRIEF I CHK ALL NOTAMS FOR THE ARPT AS WELL AS ATIS NOTAMS AND VIEW THE GND 10-9 PLATE. THIS ITEM WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. ALSO; AFTER BEING CLRED IN BY GND ON THAT VERY SAME TXWY; WE NOTED NO OBSTRUCTION PRESENT.
