Synopsis

D10 APCH CTLR VECTORING A BE95 FOR VISUAL APCH INTO DAL CONFLICTS WITH MO20 OFF ADS ARPT BEING CTLED BY D10 DEP CTL.

Narrative

DEP N/ARR RADAR 7 COMBINED S FLOW. WX CHANGING FROM IFR/VFR. I SPLIT ARR RADAR 7 FROM DEP N. (THIS WAS UNNECESSARY SINCE TFC WAS LIGHT.) I VECTORED ACFT X TO 330 DEG HDG E OF DAL FOR SEQUENCE TO RWY 13L ILS. ACFT Y THEN STATED HE HAD A VISUAL WITH THE ARPT. I TURNED HIM TO A 270 DEG HDG AND TOLD HIM I WOULD HAVE VISUAL APCH SOON. (I HAD TO PASS THE RWY 15 EXTENDED CTRLINE AND AN MO20 DEP OFF ADS BEFORE DSCNT.) I HEARD DEP N COORDINATED WITH DAL TWR TO KEEP MO20 AT 020 DEGS IN DAL AIRSPACE. I TURNED ACFT Y TO 240 DEGS AFTER DIVERGENCE WAS ESTABLISHED WITH THE MO20. AT THAT TIME DEP N CLBED THE MO20 TO 040 DEGS AS WAS EXPECTED. A SATCS THEN INFORMED ME THAT DAL WAS IFR AND VAP (VISUAL APCH) COULD NOT BE ISSUED. I CHKED WX AGAIN AND DAL WAS BROKEN CEILING 700 FT. (DAL WAS SCATTERED 700 FT) I LOOKED BACK TO SCOPE; TURNED ACFT X TO 310 DEGS (STILL AT 030 DEGS) AND TOLD HIM DAL WAS IFR AND UNABLE VISUAL APCH. DEP N HAD HOWEVER TURNED HIS MO20 TO A 260 DEGS WHICH CONVERGED WITH MY 240 DEG HDG. SEPARATION WAS LOST.

Frequently asked questions

How do I search flights by aircraft type on FlightFinder?

Pick an aircraft model — Boeing 737, Airbus A320, A380, Boeing 787 Dreamliner and more — enter your origin airport, and FlightFinder shows every route that plane flies from there with live fares.

Which aircraft types can I filter by?

We support Boeing 737/747/757/767/777/787, the full Airbus A220/A319/A320/A321/A330/A340/A350/A380 family, Embraer E170/E175/E190/E195, Bombardier CRJ and Dash 8, and the ATR 42/72 turboprops.

Is FlightFinder free to use?

Search and schedules are free. Pro ($4.99/month, $39/year, or $99 one-time lifetime) unlocks the enriched flight card — on-time stats, CO₂ per passenger, amenities, live gate & weather — plus My Trips with push alerts.

Where does the route data come from?

Live schedules come from Amadeus, AeroDataBox and Travelpayouts. Observed routes (which aircraft actually flew a given city pair) are crowdsourced from adsb.lol ADS-B data under the Open Database License.
