Synopsis

A CRJ-200 ABORTED TKOF AFTER VR WHEN CTL COLUMN WOULD NOT MOVE AFT AND ACFT COULD NOT ROTATE.

Narrative

CLRED TO TAKE RWY AT ZZZ. THE FO COMPLETED TOP HALF OF LINE-UP CHECKS. CLRED FOR TKOF. COMPLETED LINE-UP CHECKS. CAPT PUSHED THRUST LEVERS FORWARD AND FO SET THRUST. REACHED 100 KTS. THE CALL WAS MADE. FO CALLED 'V1' AND 'ROTATE.' I WAS GETTING READY TO CALL V2 WHEN THE THRUST LEVER CAME BACK TO IDLE. I RECHECKED GAUGES TO MAKE SURE I DIDN'T MISS SOMETHING AND ASKED WHAT HAPPENED. THE CAPT SAID THE STICK WOULDN'T COME BACK AND HE HAD TRIED TO ROTATE TWICE. I MADE THE ABORT CALL TO TWR. WE CLRED THE RWY. I COMPLETED THE AFTER LNDG CHECK. UNEVENTFUL TAXI BACK TO THE GATE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 642826: TKOF ROLL WAS NORMAL UNTIL REACHING VR. CAPT ATTEMPTED TO ROTATE; CTL COLUMN WOULD NOT MOVE AFT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR ACN 645037 REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE FO NOTED THAT THE CAUSE FOR THE INABILITY TO MOVE THE CTL COLUMN AFT WAS A STUCK AUTOPLT SERVO ON THE R HORIZONTAL ELEVATOR. HE STATED THAT THE AUTOPLT SELECTOR WAS OFF IN THE COCKPIT; AND THAT THERE WAS NO TKOF CONFIGURATION WARNING.
