B767-300 FLT CREW TAXIES OVER RWY CLOSURE LIGHTS AT SAEZ.
AFTER AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG ON RWY 11 AT SAEZ; TWR DIRECTED US TO TURN ONTO RWY 35 AND CONTACT GND ON 121.75. GND CTL DIRECTED US TO TAXI TO GATE USING TXWY D. I WAS UNSURE WHERE TXWY D WAS; SO I LOOKED DOWN AT THE 10-9 PAGE TO DETERMINE ITS LOCATION. I LOOKED UP IN TIME TO SEE SOME RED LIGHTS DISAPPEAR UNDER THE ACFT NOSE. I DIRECTED THE CAPT TO STOP THE ACFT. HE STOPPED PROMPTLY AND ASKED ME WHY. I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE LIGHTS THAT PASSED UNDER THE ACFT NOSE. GND CTL CALLED US AND TOLD US TO HOLD OUR POS. THEN DIRECTED US TO SHUT DOWN ENGS. THE ACFT WAS INSPECTED AND NO DAMAGE WAS FOUND. ONE LIGHT WAS BROKEN. WE WERE TOWED TO THE GATE WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. THE CLOSURE OF RWY 35 WAS NOT ANNOTATED ON THE SAEZ FIELD RPT OR IN ATIS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 699172: I EXITED THE RWY ONTO RWY 35. WE WERE GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS TO TAXI TO GATE VIA TXWY RWY 35 AND TXWY D. I HAVE FLOWN THIS TRIP MANY TIMES AND KNEW WHERE THE GATE WAS IN RELATION TO OUR POS. I CONTINUED TAXIING DOWN RWY 35 PAST TXWY H WHEN MY COPLT TOLD ME TO STOP THE ACFT AND I DID. WHEN I ASKED WHY; HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD SEEN SOME WEAK RED LIGHTS PASS UNDER THE NOSE OF THE ACFT. THEY WERE NOT VISIBLE TO HIM UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE TO STOP SHORT. I NEVER SAW THE LIGHTS AT ALL. I DID HAVE THE NOSEWHEEL TAXI LIGHT ON AND NO OBSTACLES WERE OBSERVED. WHEN THE MECH ARRIVED WITH THE TOW TRUCK; HE INFORMED US THAT WE HAD RUN OVER A LIGHT AND BROKEN IT AND THAT HE HAD INSPECTED THE ACFT AND FOUND NO DAMAGE.
