L30 CTLR DESCRIBED LOSS OF SEPARATION WHEN 2 SECTORS WERE VECTORING FOR DIFFERENT RWYS DUE TO INTRAFAC COORD FAILURE.

Narrative

DOING A RWY CHANGE; 2 SECTORS WERE WORKING OFF OF 2 DIFFERENT CONFIGNS. THE OM TOLD ONE TO CHANGE AND NOT THE OTHER. 2 IFR ACFT; BOTH CTLRS THOUGHT THEY WERE IN THEIR AIRSPACE. FNL CTLR VECTORED FOR NEW RWY; CYN CTLR VECTORED FOR OLD RWY. EACH SECTOR THOUGHT THEY OWNED THE AIRSPACE AND DID NOT SEE LIMITED DATA BLOCK TILL TOO LATE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 707191: TOOK OVER CANYON SECTOR FROM ANOTHER CTLR WHO TOLD ME WE WERE CONTEMPLATING A RWY CHANGE; BUT NOT YET. SAT DOWN AND WORKED SECTOR PER CONFIGN ONE. UNFORTUNATELY; ABOUT 2 MINS AFTER I SAT DOWN; WE CHANGED TO CONFIGN 6; AND NO ONE TOLD ME. I WAS NOW IN FINAL'S AIRSPACE WITH SEVERAL ACFT. ACFT X WAS ABOUT 10 MI S OF LAS; NBOUND; 6000 FT DSNDING TO 5000 FT; WITH ROUTING FOR RWY 19. I NOTICED A LIMITED DATA BLOCK ABOUT 5 MI NE OF OUR POS; WBOUND AT 7000 FT. THE LIMITED STARTED TO DSND. I GAVE A TFC ALERT TO ACFT X AND EXPEDITED HIM DOWN TO 5000 FT. HE RPTED LEVEL AT 5000 FT WITH THE RJ IN SIGHT OVERHEAD. THE OPS MGR DID NOT ADVISE ALL CTLRS IN A TIMELY MANNER THAT WE HAD CHANGED CONFIGNS.
