A B757 DISPATCHED TO DEST WITH NO ALTERNATE; ENCOUNTERS BELOW MINIMUM CONDITIONS AND MAKES MAP. DECLARES AN EMER AND DIVERTS TO A NEARBY ARPT.
WE PLANNED TO FLY TO ZZZ1 WITH WX FORECAST TO REMAIN CLR AND GOOD VIS AT ZZZ1. FLIGHT PLANNED WITH NO ALTERNATE AND ARR FUEL OF 6.4 (45 MIN FAR + 15 MIN CONTINGENCY). ENRTE; THE ZZZ1 FORECAST WAS UPDATED TO INCLUDE TEMP 2SM BKN 005; ZZZ1 WINDS CALM; 5SM FEW 008 TEMP 17/15. THROUGH ACARS WITH DISPATCH CHECKED AREA WEATHER AND DETERMINED BURN TO ALT 3.0. WE ELECTED TO CONTINUE WITH WX ABOVE MINIMUMS AND FIELD RECONFIGURED FOR THE ILS RWY 9. ON ARR; WE WERE SLOWED EARLY; VECTORED; DSNDED AS APCH CTL SETUP THE FLOW FOR EAST LNDGS. WHILE ON DOWNWIND ABEAM THE ARPT; ACFT BEGAN EXECUTING MISSED APCHES. WE WERE APPROXIMATELY NUMBER 6 IN THE FLOW AND WX WAS STILL REPORTED AT 500-1? WE CONTINUED THE APCH (EXPECTING TO LAND WITH 6.0) AND EXECUTED A MISSED APCH LIKE THE ACFT AHEAD OF US. ON THE MISSED APCH THE LOW FUEL EICAS ILLUMINATED AND FUEL GAUGES SHOWED 4.8. AT THIS POINT THE SAFEST COURSE OF ACTION WAS TO DIVERT TO ZZZ. ZZZ WAS IN SIGHT AND VFR. THE CAPT DECLARED AN EMER AND COORDINATED WITH ATC TO LAND AT ZZZ. AFTER LNDG; WE PARKED IN FRONT OF OPS. ONE CHALLENGE WE HAD WAS NO ACARS COMM; SO ALL COMMUNICATION WITH COMPANY WAS DONE WITH CELL PHONE. AFTER A COUPLE RECOVERY PLAN CHANGES; THE ZZZ1 WX IMPROVED TO ALLOW ACFT TO LAND. WE DEPARTED AND LANDED AT ZZZ1.
