DURING A DIVERSION; A300 ENCOUNTERS TCAS RA WITH TWO ACFT AT 10000 FT MSL.
OPERATING AIRBUS A300 IN COM WITH JOSHUA APCH CTL; IFR FLT LGB; THEN DIVERTED TO BUR PER COMPANY INSTRUCTIONS. LEVEL AT 10000 FT AND INDICATED AIRSPD OF 310 KIAS; AS REQUESTED BY JOSHUA APCH CTL; TO KEEP SPD UP FOR OTHER ARRIVING ACFT BEHIND US. SUDDENLY; OUR TCAS SHOWED TARGETS AT 1 O'CLOCK POS AND 2 O'CLOCK POS AS WE PASSED BY THE PMD VOR ON THE LYNNX 8 ARR TO BUR. ONE OF THE TARGETS WAS HIGHER ABOVE US; THE OTHER WAS SHOWING -200 BELOW OUR ACFT. AT THAT TIME; JOSHUA APCH CTL POINTED OUT THE SAME TFC AND AFTER A PAUSE; DIRECTED TO FLY 10 DEGS L FOR SEPARATION FROM THAT SAME TFC; THERE WAS NO COM FROM THAT TFC IN CONFLICT WITH OUR FLT. TCAS SYMBOLOGY SHOWED INTRUDER STATUS OF THE CONFLICT ACFT AND THEN WE RECEIVED AURAL AND INST TCAS WARNINGS TO 'CLB; CLB; NOW.' I DISENGAGED THE AUTOPLT AND AUTOTHROTTLES PER COMPANY PRACTICE; AND EXECUTED CLB MANEUVER AWAY FROM THE INTRUDER; THEN RECEIVED AN ALMOST IMMEDIATE INSTRUCTION TO 'DSND; MONITOR VERT SPD.' THE INTRUDER ACFT PASSED WITHIN 1 MI OF OUR ACFT. WE HAD VISUAL WITH THAT ACFT PASSING ON OUR R SIDE; BELOW US. WE RPTED OUR DEV WITH JOSHUA APCH CTL; THE ENTIRE MANEUVER STARTED AT 10000 FT MSL AND WAS OVER BY 10400 FT MSL. TCAS WAS EXCELLENT IN GETTING US OUT OF THE SITUATION.
