A320 CAPT RPTS ELECTRICAL FAILURE DURING TKOF ROLL CAUSING THE TKOF TO BE ABORTED AT 50 KTS.
EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL. WE WERE CLRED FOR TAKEOFF AND EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL TILL AROUND 50 KTS; THE FO WAS FLYING. AT AROUND 50 KTS I LOST MY PFD AND ND; THEN THE ENGINE SCREEN WENT OFF. I THEN TOOK THE ACFT AND ABORTED THE TAKEOFF. I THEN NOTICED THERE WAS NO NOSEWHEEL STEERING. I TOLD THE FO TO NOTIFY THE TOWER BUT WE HAD NO RADIOS. THE PANEL ON BOTH SIDES WAS DEAD. WE EXITED THE RWY AND AS WE ENTERED THE TXWY I LOOKED UP AND THE ONLY LIGHT ON WAS AC ESS. I RESET THAT AND WE GOT PARTIAL POWER BACK INCLUDING RADIOS. I STOP THE ACFT AND TALK TO THE FLT ATTENDANTS AND PAX WHILE THE FO CALLED OPS. I WAS ABLE TO RESET THE NO 1 GENERATOR AND GOT NOSEWHEEL STEERING BACK. WE TAXIED BACK TO THE GATE. THE FLT ATTENDANTS TOLD US THE EMER EXIT LIGHTS HAD COME ON SHORTLY BEFORE WE ABORTED. THERE WAS NO MAINT READ OUT. WE BELIEVE THAT THERE WAS NO POWER TO THE COMPUTERS. THE MECHANICS SAID WE COULDN'T HAVE LOST AC AND DC BUT I TOLD THEM EVERYTHING WAS OFF LINE. THEY SHOWED A LOT OF FAILURES ON THE ECAM AND TOOK THE PLANE OUT OF SERVICE. WE CHANGED PLANES AND CONTINUED ON. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A TOTAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE. THERE WASN'T EVEN BATT BUS. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED.CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: SINCE NO INFORMATION WAS STORED IN THE ACFT MAINT COMPUTER; THE MECHS WERE UNABLE TO TELL THAT THE EVENT HAD ACTUALLY OCCURRED. ALL BUSSES AND GENERATOR WORKED NORMALLY AT THE GATE BUT THE ACFT WAS TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE FOR FURTHER CHKING. THE RPTR STATED HE NEVER DID HEAR FROM THE COMPANY AS TO WHAT MAY HAVE CAUSED THE INCIDENT. THE ACFT HAD A PREVIOUS WRITE-UP FOR LOSS OF AC ESS BUS AT V1.
