FLT CREW REVIEWED NOTAMS FOR MMGL. TAXIWAYS ARE REFERENCED THAT DO NOT APPEAR ON PUBLISHED ARPT DIAGRAM.
READING THE CURRENT FIELD AND FACILITIES NOTES FOR MMGL IT REFERENCES TAXIWAY L. TAXIWAY L IS NOT DEPICTED ON THE CURRENT AIRPORT DIAGRAM FOR MMGL. ANOTHER PAGE REFERENCES TAXIWAY A-2; AS DOES A SECOND PAGE. TAXIWAY A-2 IS NOT DEPICTED ON THE CURRENT AIRPORT DIAGRAM FOR MMGL. ONE OF THE MOST DEMANDING PARTS OF MY JOB IS TO SAFELY GET THE JET OFF THE GATE AND TO THE CORRECT RUNWAY; AS WELL AS SAFELY EXITING THE ACTIVE RUNWAY AND GETTING TO THE CORRECT JETWAY. THE FIELD AND FACILITY NOTES SERVE AN IMPORTANT PURPOSE. IN THIS CASE; THEY REFERENCE TAXIWAYS THAT ARE NOT DEPICTED ON THE CURRENT AIRPORT DIAGRAM. BAD; INCORRECT AND INCOMPLETE INFORMATION REFLECTS NEGATIVELY ON THE FIELD AND FACILITY NOTES THAT SERVE A CRITICAL SAFETY FUNCTION. IN THIS CASE THERE SHOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL NOTE STATING THAT THE AIRPORT DIAGRAM IS DATED AND DOES NOT SHOW TAXIWAY A-2 (AND TAXIWAY L IF IT DOES EXIST). THE AIRPORT DIAGRAM IS OUT OF DATE AS I SAW TAXIWAY A-2 AFTER LANDING. I'M STILL NOT SURE ABOUT THE STATUS OF TAXIWAY L. MAKE SURE THE CURRENT AIRPORT DIAGRAM CORRECTLY REFLECTS THE STATUS OF THE AIRPORT. OR PUBLISH A CORRECTED CHART THAT IS AVAILABLE TO THE CREWS PRIOR TO THE NEXT SCHEDULED PUBLICATION.CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE REPORTER STATED THAT HE METICULOUSLY REVIEWS NOTAMS PRIOR TO FLT; ESPECIALLY WHEN OPERATING INTO AN UNFAMILIAR ARPT. AFTER LNDG AT MMGL; HE IDENTIFIED THE TXWY SIGN FOR A-2; AND RECALLS ITS LOCATION AS BETWEEN TXWYS 'A1' AND 'B' WHILE TAXIING ON TXWY 'A.' A TXWY SIGN FOR 'L' WAS NEVER OBSERVED.
