AN A320 FO LANDED WITH A 130 DEGS/9 KT CROSS WIND GUSTING TO 11 KTS. BELOW 90 KTS THE ACFT VEERED RT FORCING THE CAPT'S TILLER USE TO STAY ON THE RWY.
WIND WAS 350 DEGS AT 14 KTS GUSTING 22 KTS ON ATIS F. AFTER LNDG; MODERATE BRAKING APPLIED TO COMPLY WITH THE HOLD SHORT OF RWY XXR CLRNC. IMMEDIATELY AFTER BRAKES APPLIED; ACFT BEGAN TO SWERVE TO THE R. I APPLIED FULL L RUDDER AND INCREASINGLY APPLIED L BRAKE AND THE ACFT CONTINUED TO VEER TO THE R. AT ABOUT 90 KTS I ADVISED THE CAPT THAT I COULD NOT CTL THE ACFT WITH BRAKE AND RUDDER. AT THAT POINT; THE CAPT TOOK CTL OF THE ACFT USING THE TILLER AND RECOVERED TO CTRLINE AND EXITED THE RWY. IF HE HADN'T TAKEN CTL WITH THE TILLER; I BELIEVE THAT THE ACFT WOULD HAVE DEPARTED THE RWY. TAXI TO THE GATE WAS NORMAL. OF NOTE WAS THE L BRAKE TEMPS AT TKOF WERE APPROX 200 DEGS AND THE R WERE APPROX 100 DEGS. AFTER PARKING AT THE GATE; THE L BRAKES WERE EVEN AT 220 DEGS AND THE R BRAKES WERE EVEN AT 290 DEGS. I FELT THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE OPPOSITE BASED ON MY BRAKE APPLICATION AND MY EXPERIENCE IN THE AIRBUS. ONE ADDITIONAL NOTE IS THAT I WISH THAT I HAD BEEN TRAINED IN THE EMER USE OF THE TILLER AS IT NEVER OCCURRED TO ME TO REACH FOR MY OWN TILLER. COPLT SAYS PLANE NOT CONTROLLABLE FOR ME TO TAKE OVER. TOOK CTL OF ACFT AND STEERED BACK TO CTRLINE WITH TILLER AND MADE TURN OFF OF RWY AT TXWY A. MAINT NOTIFIED WITH INTENSIVE DEBRIEF.
