CESSNA CARAVAN DEP FROM PDX RESPONDS TO WRONG TKOF CLRNC; ISSUED ABORT INSTRUCTIONS BY ATC.
CHKED ATIS. ACTIVE RWY LISTED; RWY 28L. RECEIVED TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TO TAXI E6 DOWN RWY 3; HOLD SHORT TXWY C. I ASKED GND CTLR TO REPEAT THESE INSTRUCTIONS; BEING THIS WAS NOT OUR USUAL TAXI CLRNC. IT WAS REPEATED AND I TAXIED TO BUT HELD SHORT TXWY C AND RWY 28L. NEXT CLRNC I WAS TOLD TO TAXI; CROSS RWY 28L DOWN RWY 3; HOLD IN POS RWY 21; AND LEAVE ROOM FOR ANOTHER ACFT FOLLOWING BEHIND ME. WHILE I WAS TAXIING DOWN RWY 3; MY GPS FAILED AND I REBOOTED IT. SINCE IT SHUTS DOWN MY #1 COMRDO; I PLACED GND 121.9 IN #2 COM. AFTER GPS CAME BACK ON; I SWITCHED BACK TO #1 COM TWR 123.775; NOT REALIZING VOLUME WAS TURNED DOWN. I HEARD A XMISSION AND I TURNED UP VOLUME TO HEAR CLRED FOR TKOF. I ACKNOWLEDGED CLRED FOR TKOF; NOT REALIZING THAT ACR X HAD BEEN CLRED FOR TKOF; AND ACKNOWLEDGED AT THE SAME INSTANT AS I. THE CTLR DID NOT HEAR MY XMISSION. JUST BEYOND THE 1/2 WAY POINT OF MY TKOF ROLL; THE TWR CALLED ME TO ABORT. A REGIONAL JET WAS LNDG RWY 28L. TWR ASKED IF I COULD STOP SHORT OF RWY 28L. I ACKNOWLEDGED NEGATIVE. I DID NOT THINK I COULD STOP; BUT WITH HARD BRAKING AND HARD REVERSE; I WAS ABLE TO STOP AND AVOID INTRUSION ONTO RWY 28L. THE RJ FLT WAS LNDG ON RWY 28L AND WAS ABLE TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 21 AND TURN OFF AT AN EXIT BEFORE INTXN OF RWY 28L/21.
