The FAA is asked to require that pilots operating under Part 135 in aircraft requiring a type rating obtain a minimum amount of flight time in that aircraft type, modeled after the requirements in Part 121.434, while accounting for the distinct nature of Part 135 operations, to ensure they consolidate their knowledge and skills.
