EASA must require operators of Eurocopter helicopters equipped with main rotor blades part numbers 355A11-0020 and/or 355A11-0030 to update their maintenance manuals. The update should include specific daily visual inspections of the trailing edge on both upper and lower skin surfaces for cracks and surface deterioration. This follows the revision of the Eurocopter aircraft maintenance manual described in Safety Recommendation A-11-37.
