THE AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION, NATIONAL AIR TRANSPORTATION CONFERENCES, THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION, THE GENERAL AVIATION MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION, AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION REEMPHASIZE THE NEED FOR CONTINUOUS VIGILANCE IN MAINTAINING THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF EXISTING AIRCRAFT COMPONENTS THAT ARE MADE OF MATERIALS KNOWN TO BE, OR SUSPECTED OF BEING, SUSCEPTIVE TO STRESS-CORROSION CRACKING.
