AMEND 14 CFR 121.343 TO REQUIRE THAT ALL AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURED AFTER A SPECIFIED DATE, REGARDLESS OF THE DATE OF ORIGINAL TYPE CERTIFICATION, BE EQUIPPED WITH ONE OR MORE APPROVED FLIGHT RECORDERS THAT RECORD DATA FROM WHICH THE INFORMATION LISTED IN ENCLOSURE 1, IN ADDITION TO THE INFORMATION PRESENTLY SPECIFIED IN 14 CFR 121.343 PARAGRAPH (A)(2), CAN BE DETERMINED. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS ACTION OBVIATES THE NEED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH RECOMMENDATION NUMBER 1 ABOVE.
