THE NTSB RECOMMENDS THAT THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION: AS AN INTERIM MEASURE, ISSUE AN AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE TO REQUIRE THE INSPECTION OF: (1) THE FORWARD FUEL SUPPLY LINE FOR PROPER BEND RADIUS AND TUBE DIAMETER IN THE BEND; AND (2) THE FUEL LINES INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FOR PROPER SEPARATION FROM EXHAUST SYSTEM COMPONENTS OR OTHER HEAT SOURCES OF ALL CESSNA 200-SERIES AIRPLANES, AND THE CORRECTION OF ALL DEFICIENCIES FOUND IN THOSE INSTALLATIONS.
