TO THE MANUFACTURERS OF MULTIENGINE TURBINE-POWERED AIRPLANES AND ROTORCRAFT: Prewire all newly manufactured multiengine, turbine-powered rotorcraft certificated to carry six or more passengers in any type of operation not currently required by CFR 127.127 to have a cockpit voice recorder and/or a flight data recorder, to accept a "general aviation" cockpit voice recorder (if certificated for two-pilot operation) with at least one channel for voice communications transmitted from or received in the aircraft by radio, and one channel for audio signals from a cockpit area microphone, and a "general aviation" flight data recorder to record sufficient data parameters to determine the information in table ii (parameters, range, installed system minimum accuracy, sampling interval, engine power, flight control hydraulic pressure, flight controls) as a function of time.
