THE NTSB RECOMMENDS THAT THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION: MAKE APPROPRIATE DISTRIBUTION TO THE AVIATION COMUNITY OF INFORMATION REGARDING (1) THE LOCATION AND DESIGNATION OF REMOTE SENSORS OF THE LOW LEVEL WIND SHEAR ALERT SYSTEM (LLWSAS) AT EQUIPPED AIRPORTS, (2) THE CAPABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS OF THE LLWSAS, AND (3) THE AVAILABILITY OF CURRENT LLWSAS REMOTE SENSOR INFORMATION IF REQUESTED FROM TOWER CONTROLLERS.
