THE NTSB RECOMMENDS THAT THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION: REVIEW AND EVALUATE THE DETROIT DIESEL ALLISON 250-C30 ENGINE CERTIFICATION DATA TO ASSURE THAT THE ENGINE COMPLIES WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF 14 CFR SECTIONS 33.75 (SAFETY ANALYSIS) AND 29.903 (ENGINES) REGARDING TURBINE ROTOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN, AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION IF THE SAFETY ANALYSIS AND ENGINE DESIGN DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS.
