THE NTSB RECOMMENDS THAT THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION: REVISE, BASED ON THE RESULTS OF TESTING OF PASSENGER COMPREHENSION OF SAFETY INFORMATION AND PERFORMANCE OF EMERGENCY PROCEDURES, AIR CARRIER OPERATIONS HANDBOOKS AND BULLETINS AND AIR CARRIER INSPECTION TRAINING PROGRAMS TO INCLUDE INSTRUCTION TO PREPARE FAA INSPECTORS TO PROVIDE BETTER GUIDANCE TO AIRLINES WHEN ASSISTING THEM IN IMPROVING THE CONTENT AND PRESENTATION OF PASSENGER SAFETY INFORMATION TO THEIR PASSENGERS.
