THE NTSB RECOMMENDS THAT THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE CHIEFS, THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE, THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF FIRE SERVICE INSTRUCTORS, AND THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION: IN COORDINATION WITH FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA), EDUCATE MEMBERS ABOUT THE FAA SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THEM TO ASSIST IN RESTRICTING THE FLIGHT OF AIRCRAFT CLOSE TO DISASTERS SUCH AS SPILLS OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND FIRES.
