THE NTSB RECOMMENDS THAT THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION: ISSUE AN AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE APPLICABLE TO MOONEY M20J AIRPLANES, SERIAL NUMBERS 24-0084 AND 24-0378 THROUGH 24-1381, AND TO MOONEY M20K AIRPLANES, SERIAL NUMBERS 25 0001 THROUGH 25-0754, REQUIRING AT THE NEXT ANNUAL OR 100 HOUR INSPECTION, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST, COMPLIANCE WITH MOONEY SERVICE INSTRUCTION M20-63, "ENGAGEMENT OF BAGGAGE DOOR AUXILIARY EXIT LATCHING MECHANISM."
