THE NTSB RECOMMENDS THAT THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION: ISSUE AN AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE TO REQUIRE ALL OWNERS OF CESSNA SINGLE-ENGINE AIRPLANES WITH THE SUPPLEMENTAL TYPE CERTIFICATE (STC) SA1371SW BUSH CONVERSIONS SHORT TAKEOFF AND LANDING (STOL) KIT INSTALLED TO DETERMINE THE HEIGHT OF THE STOL KIT STALL FENCES AND, IF THEY ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE, TO TAKE ACTION AS NECESSARY TO BRING THE INSTALLATION INTO COMPLIANCE WITH THE STC.
