Accident Details
Shortly after lift-off, while the aircraft was at an altitude between 25 and 50 feet above ground level with the landing gear still extended, the aircraft began a gradual roll to the right. The pilot applied full left aileron input in an attempt to counter the roll, but was unable to correct the aircraft's attitude.
Sensing a rapidly deteriorating situation, the pilot decided to abort the takeoff. The aircraft subsequently crashed on an adjacent taxiway. Upon impact, all landing gear collapsed.
Post-Accident Findings
During the examination of the wreckage, the right outboard deicer boot was found split horizontally from the landing light outboard for approximately 4 feet. Additionally, the left wing outboard stall strip was missing from the boot.
