Event Description
During an approach, the pilot executed a go-around. As part of the go-around procedure, the landing gear was retracted, and the aircraft reentered the traffic pattern. Following reentry, the pilot placed the landing gear handle in the down position in preparation for the next approach, which was intended to be a full-stop landing.
Pilot Actions
The pilot reported that he did not verify that the landing gear down lights indicated "3 in the green" prior to landing. The aircraft subsequently landed with the landing gear retracted (gear-up landing).
Post-Landing Findings
After the gear-up landing, the landing gear circuit breaker was found in the popped (tripped) position. The landing gear handle was observed in the down position. No reason could be established for the popped landing gear circuit breaker.
