On January 13, 2008, at approximately 1015 UTC, a Cessna TU206G, registration G-BYIC, was conducting a parachute jump mission departing from Santa Cilia, Spain. While flying at 3000 feet above ground level, the aircraft suffered a complete loss of engine power. The pilot reported hearing a loud noise immediately preceding the power loss and subsequently began emergency landing procedures.
