Ecuadorian Army Beech BE-200 Crash in Quito Residential Area

Incident Overview On March 19, 2009, at approximately 1030 UTC, a Beech BE-200 aircraft with registration AEE-101, operated by the Ecuadorian Army, was destroyed after impacting a residential area while on approach to Mariscal Sucre Airport (SEQU) in Quito, Ecuador. The aircraft had departed from San Vicente, Ecuador, on a military training flight. ## Casualties The accident resulted in the deaths of all five individuals on board the aircraft, comprising two pilots and three passengers.
