What happened
On May 3im, 2009, at approximately 1100 UTC, an ATEC 321 FAETA ultralight aircraft, registration OK-JUG19, was conducting a local flight after departing from Airfield Kopaidas. During the climb, the aircraft entered a spiral dive and struck a field near Strovikion, Greece. The impact resulted in 2 fatalities for the pilot and passenger.
The investigation
The investigation into the accident was conducted under the jurisdiction of the Greek Government's Air Accident Investigation and Aviation Safety Board.
